Its hot, therapeutic sulphurous waters flow at 48 degrees in the middle of a wood, in a magical setting called Fosso Bianco, filling natural pools of white limestone with small waterfalls. The most important is called &#8220;Balena Bianca&#8221;, the <em>white whale<\/em> in English. Many pools are free for swimming. <br \/>One kilometre to the west, the <strong>cave of San Filippo<\/strong> was dug into a large rock.
