The Chianti region is located in the south of Florence. It is mainly an area known for its wine production. You can discover it by several wine routes, passing through its castles and natural sites.
It is a small mountain range of 20 km wide surrounded by hills, straddling the provinces of Florence, Siena and Arezzo.It is bordered to the east by the Valdarno and the Val di Chiana. Its Mont Saint-Michel is 893 meters high.
